Contrast medium regulate mast cell activation

The importance of contrast medium in imaging medical diagnosis is very high, however, contrast medium still has some side effects on the human body, such as inducing type I hypersensitivity. The excessive activation of mast cells is a major participant in type I hypersensitivity, but it is still not very clear whether the activation of mast cells by contrast medium is through the regulation of microRNA expression. This study analyzes whether there are differences in the expression of microRNAs within mast cells after stimulation by contrast medium.
