Dataset for: Development and Validation of a School-Based Social Risk Index for Children in Türkiye This dataset contains the anonymized data supporting the findings of the study entitled "Development and Validation of a School-Based Social Risk Index for Children in Türkiye." The study aimed to develop and psychometrically validate the Social Risk Index for Children (SRIC), a school-based screening instrument designed to identify children at increased social risk using readily available sociodemographic information. The study was conducted in 2023 among 341 middle school students from four schools representing different socioeconomic settings in central Türkiye. The dataset includes anonymized participant characteristics, SRIC item responses, Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors Scale for Children (HLBSC) scores, Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) scores, Mindfulness-Based Self-Efficacy Scale-Revised (MSES-R) scores, Emotional Literacy Scale (ELS) scores, Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale-21 (DASS-21) scores, and variables used in the statistical analyses. Personal identifiers have been removed to protect participant confidentiality. The dataset is provided solely for scientific research and verification of the published findings. Users should cite the associated publication when using these data.
