LncRNA EGOT regulates inflammation and growth We used microarrays to estudy global changes after EGOT depletion and found many inflammation and growth related factors strongly deregulated. HuH7 cells were transfected with a plasmid expressing PKR and poly I:C to induce EGOT levels. In addition, 50 pmols of a gapmer targeting EGOT or a control gapmer were also transfected with lipofectamine 2000. RNA was isolated 36 hours post-transfection and RNA quality was evaluated before samples were hybridized to a Affymetrix Human Gene 32.0 ST array
