Scoping Review Digra 2020 - 2025 (The Invisibility of Women Streamers in Game Studies)

This dataset contains the full documentation of the scoping review presented (forthcoming) in the paper "The Invisibility of Women Streamers in Game Studies", published in the proceedings of DiGRA (2020-2025). The study examines the state of academic production regarding female participation in live video game streaming. The provided file includes four detailed sheets: Selected Articles: The central corpus of the review (n=5), featuring in-depth analysis of studies focused specifically on live streaming and gender. Included Articles: The complete list of articles that passed the eligibility assessment (n=11), including those addressing gender in broader gaming contexts. Excluded Articles: Detailed flow and criteria for the 466 records excluded during the screening stages. Stage 3 Exclusions: A granular rationale for each of the 41 articles excluded during the final eligibility assessment. This material serves as supplementary data to ensure the transparency and reproducibility of the scoping review's methodology.
