This dataset dynamically analyzes Global Forecast System (GFS) forecasts, processes and generates forecasted rainfall amounts at different future time periods for Haishu District, Ningbo City, to support flood prevention operations of government agencies and travel planning for the general public. In emergency scenarios including typhoons and heavy rainstorms, it can assist managers in analysis, judgment and decision-making, enabling timely release and implementation of relevant mitigation measures to reduce disaster losses. Taking the latest numerical forecast outputs of the Global Forecast System (GFS) as input data, the dataset converts the data into grid-based rainfall products via numerical interpretation, conducts topological analysis based on the vector boundary layer of Haishu District, Ningbo City, dynamically extracts grid information within the administrative scope, and generates hourly forecasted areal rainfall amounts for various time periods within the next 72 hours across the region.
