Uterosacral Ligament Histological Images from Pelvic Organ Prolapse Patients

Trichrome stained uterosacral ligament histological preparations from specimen biorepository. Images in this file were from patients who received a diagnosis of pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and were treated with corrective POP surgery. Specimens were evaluated using quantitative and semi-quantitative measures by a histopathologist who was blinded to non-prolapse or prolapse diagnosis. A database of measurements along with patient characteristics is available in this data repository.
