资源简介:
This dataset contains all analytical results used in the study “Multi-stage Assembly of the Utuado Pluton, Puerto Rico: Evidence from Enclaves and Amphibole Geochemistry” that has been submitted for publication. The data integrate whole-rock major and trace element compositions, electron microprobe analyses of amphibole major elements, and LA-ICP-MS trace element analyses of amphiboles from enclaves and granodioritic host rocks within the Utuado Pluton. Whole-rock geochemical data include major elements (XRF) and trace elements (ICP-MS) for samples collected from two field localities (Cañon Blanco Utuado and Río Jayuya Utuado). These data were used to characterize magma compositions, evaluate enclave–host relationships, and assess evidence for hybridization and melt extraction within the pluton. Amphibole major element data (EPMA) document patchy zoning and intra-crystal chemical domains (Zones 1–3) that preserve discrete stages of crystallization and magma recharge. Amphibole trace element data (LA-ICP-MS) provide insight into melt evolution, mineral–melt partitioning behavior, and subduction-related geochemical signatures. Together, these datasets support thermobarometric calculations, equilibrium-melt estimates, and the interpretation of magmatic processes including recharge, mingling, hybridization, and limited melt extraction during incremental pluton assembly. All files are provided in spreadsheet format with sample identifiers, analytical conditions where applicable, and variable descriptions to facilitate reuse.
