U.S. importance of taxes and government spending 2024, by party

A survey conducted in 2024 found that respondents from both the Democratic and Republican Parties found taxes and government spending very or somewhat important. However, there were far more Republicans who considered taxes and government spending to be very important, compared to just over half of Democrats.
