Longitudinal slope profiles derived for all 1:500 000 rivers of South Africa, including cross-border catchments extending into neighbouring countries. River main stems are identified by a unique reach number (REACHNUM) within each primary catchment.本数据集针对南非全境所有1:50万比例尺河流生成了纵向坡度剖面，涵盖延伸至周边国家的跨境流域（catchment）。在每个一级流域内，河流干流通过唯一河段编号（REACHNUM）进行标识。
