The series consists of bound books of minutes of Brisbane Water County Council.  It includes minutes of both the general Council meetings, and also its Finance and Works Committee, which reported to the County Council.The minutes cover issues relevant to the Council's role as an electricity supplier, including the provision and running of sub-stations, provision of street lighting, extensions to the electricity service, supply of equipment, capital works, financial matters, staff issues, sales of appliances, connection and disconnection fees, and electricity charges. The minutes also record receipt of reports by key staff, such as engineers and County Clerks.
