Geotope Inventory

The inventory provides a systematic overview of the geotope stock of the canton of St.Gallen. The designated geotopes provide insights into the earth-historical events over a period of around 300 million years (upper carbon to Holocene). They document processes that are of fundamental importance for the genesis and today’s manifestation of the St.gallian natural landscapes.本数据集系统梳理了圣加仑州的地质遗迹（geotope）资源库。入选的地质遗迹可展现约3亿年跨度内（晚石炭世至全新世）的地球历史事件，记录了对圣加仑州自然景观的形成与现今风貌具有根本性意义的地质作用过程。
