该数据集为2020年12月斯里兰卡Burevi气旋灾害下被毁的住所，以OpenStreetMap提供的建筑数据为基础数据，以气旋灾害下的风暴范围和洪涝范围作为致灾因子，通过对评估建筑数据在灾前灾后的变化情况，评估得到建筑被毁情况。通过对建筑的被毁情况进行分析，可以进一步评估因灾害而住所被毁的人数，进而评估受灾人口。

This dataset documents destroyed residential buildings during the Cyclone Burevi disaster in Sri Lanka in December 2020. It leverages building data provided by OpenStreetMap as the foundational dataset, and uses the storm and flood inundation extents from the cyclone event as hazard drivers. The building destruction status is inferred by assessing the differences between pre-disaster and post-disaster building datasets. Further analysis of the obtained building destruction status enables the estimation of the number of people displaced due to lost residences, and subsequently the assessment of the total affected population.
