The purpose of this study was to test whole genome sequencing (WGS) as a quality control method for human pluripotent stem cells. We performed WGS on several genetically edited lines of PGP1 human iPSCs, and also on PGP1 iPSCs that are known to be positive for Mycoplasma contamination. We note that the genome of PGP1 is consented for public release and has previously been published.
