POIs General Dukes County

These data have been compiled over the last 2 decades and extensively reviewed during the completion of the Hazard Mitigation Plan of 2021 (completed for all towns within Dukes County). The locations shared through this hosted feature view only include general municipal facilities (police, fire, etc) and public/tourists points of interest (lighthouses, beaches, ferry docks, etc). Data are on-screen digitized using various aerial photo basemaps over the years. Efforts are made to keep these data current but it is possible for omissions or errors may occur. Feature layer is generated in AGOL from an active Join to the Category table. Visualization settings are then used to filter the data for these shared categories and symbology is set thru the visualization as well. Data were then loaded into ArePro and saved as a feature class. The layer package was then created from ArcPro. This round-about process limits the data shared with the public.
