Cellular and molecular characterization of the dural sinuses as a neuroimmune interface [whole dura]

Meningeal immunity is critical to appropriate CNS function. Here we perform single cell RNA-sequencing to investigate how brain and meningeal stromal populations regulate immune trafficking and retention in young and old mice. 10 young (2 months) and 10 old (24 months) mice were sacrificed with euthasol and dural meninges were collected. Dura were dissociated with collagenase 8 to obtain a single cell suspension and sorted by FACS to obtain all DAPI-Singlets.
