This dataset is sourced from the United States Geological Survey (USGS). It documents global seismic distributions from 1900 to 2022, covering the occurrence time of earthquakes, longitude and latitude of epicenters, approximate epicenter locations, earthquake magnitudes, and focal depths, with a total of 803,295 records. It can be applied to analyze seismic distribution and earthquake occurrence patterns, and can be combined with seismic literature metadata to investigate the correlations between seismic events and seismology.
