资源简介:
The Portunus sanguinolentus, commonly known as the three-spot swimming crab, plays a vital role in coastal marine ecosystems and is an important species for fisheries. However, little is known about the microbial communities that inhabit this species and how they influence its health and ecological role. This project uses advanced metagenomic techniques to explore the diverse microbial communities found within crab. By sequencing and analyzing the DNA of these microorganisms, we aim to uncover the composition, functions, and potential interactions of the crab's microbiome. This research will provide valuable insights into the microbial diversity associated with crab and how these microbes contribute to the crabs physiology, immune function, and overall well-being. Understanding the microbiome of crab will not only deepen our knowledge of marine microbial ecosystems but could also have implications for improving the management and conservation of this economically important species.
