The purpose of the Stock Book was to keep a record of materials supplied to the school by the Department of Education, and of their expenditure and replenishment from year to year. Maintenance of the record was the responsibility of the Principal.The volume is divided into columns, six to an opening, of which the first is pre-printed with a list of the various items ordinarily supplied to the school, and the other five record the changes in quantity over five years, at one column to a year. Each yearly column is further subdivided to record the quantity of each item on hand at the beginning of the year, additions to stock during the course of the year (with date of receipt and invoice number), and any quantity written off as unusable before the end of the year.Items listed relate to items for record purposes, blackboard accessories, mathematical instruments, stationary - writing instruments and various papers, text books and readers, art supplies, teaching aids, writing books, cleaning materials, and first aid materials. Lines are provided for additional items to be listed by hand.

本库存簿（Stock Book）旨在记录教育部（Department of Education）向学校供应的各类物资，以及各年度的物资消耗与补充情况。该记录的维护职责由校长（Principal）承担。该簿册每展开页分为六栏：第一栏为预印的学校常规供应物资清单，其余五栏分别对应五年的物资数量变动，每栏代表一个年度。每年度栏目还会进一步细分，用于记录三项内容：年初各项物资的库存量、本年度内的物资增补情况（需标注收货日期与发票编号），以及本年度结束前因无法使用而核销的物资数量。所列物资包括：备案专用物资、黑板配件、数学教具、文具（书写工具与各类纸张）、教科书与读本、美术用品、教学辅助器材、练习簿、清洁用品及急救物资。簿册预留了手工填写新增物资的空白行。
