资源简介:
This study investigated heat stress-induced mobilization of transposable elements (TEs) in Cryptococcus neoformans isolates from patients with recurrent cryptococcal meningitis. To explore the role of TEs in genome evolution during recurrent infections and uncover the reasons behind varying TE mobilization rates in isolates from the same patient, we performed long-read sequencing and de novo genome assembly on nine serially collected isolates from four cases.
