NRS-9703 | Records relating to Lord Howe Island

The volume at NRS 9703 [12/4666.3] contains papers, correspondence and reports relating to the dismissal of the Island's Resident Magistrate, Captain R.R. Armstrong, in 1882. Other subjects are the sale of palm seed, land tenures, vice-regal visits, the destruction of goats and an historical summary prepared by the local historical society.
