IMPLEMENT-CVD Health system factors affecting implementation of fixed-dose combination therapy for hypertension in Kenya: Health Worker interview transcripts

The IMPLEMENT-CVD research project investigated health system factors affecting implementation of fixed-dose combination therapy for hypertension in Kenya. This dataset contains de-identified transcripts of interviews conducted with health workers at government health facilities and private pharmacies in Kiambu County, Kenya in 2022-3 (22 transcripts with 25 participants). Interviews sought to explore their experiences of delivering care for hypertension and cardiovascular disease, with a focus on processes of selecting, prescribing and dispensing medication, and on acceptability of Fixed-Dose Combination (FDC) therapy.
