Population; highest educational attainment level and direction of education

This table contains figures on the direction of education of the highest educational attainment level of the population aged 15 to 90 in the Netherlands, with the exception of persons in establishments, institutions and homes (institutional population).
The figures are from the Occupational Population Survey (EBB).

Status of the figures:
The figures in this table are final.

Amendments as of 14 November 2023:
The figures for the third quarter of 2023 have been added.

Amendments as of 15 November 2022:
A number of respondents were able to determine the direction of education. As a result, the number of unknowns in education has decreased slightly.

Amendments as of 17 August 2022:
None, this is a new table. This table has been compiled on the basis of the Occupational Population Survey (EBB). Due to changes in the EBB’s research design and questionnaire, the 2021 figures are not necessarily comparable to those up to 2020. The key figures in this table have therefore been made consistent with the (non-seasonally adjusted) figures in the Labour Participation table, seasonally adjusted key figures (see paragraph 4), recalculating the results for the period 2013-2020 in order to align with the results from 2021 onwards. In further detailing the results by job and personal characteristics, there may nevertheless be differences between 2020 and 2021 as a result of the new methodology.

New figures will be published on 14 February 2023.

数据状态：
本表格内所有数据均为最终定稿数据。

历次修订说明：
1. 2023年11月14日修订：新增2023年第三季度相关数据。
2. 2022年11月15日修订：新增一批可明确教育方向的受访者数据，因此教育方向未知的样本量略有减少。
3. 2022年8月17日修订：无修订内容，本表格为新增编制表格。本表格基于职业人口调查（EBB）生成。由于EBB的研究设计与问卷发生调整，2021年的数据与2020年及此前各年度的数据未必具备可比性。为此，本次已将本表格的核心数据与劳动参与表中的（未经季节调整）数据、经季节调整的核心数据（参见第4节）保持一致，并重新计算了2013-2020年的统计结果，以使其与2021年及之后的统计结果相匹配。不过，在按职业与个人特征对统计结果进行进一步细分时，由于新方法的采用，2020年与2021年的数据仍可能存在差异。
