BacWGSTdb

BacWGSTdb, is designed for monitoring the emergence and outbreak of important bacterial pathogens. In detail, it serves two particular purposes: Typing & Tracking. The former refers to an integrated genotyping at both the traditional multi-locus sequence typing (MLST) and whole-genome sequencing typing (WGST) level. The latter refers to source tracking (i.e., finding highly similar isolates) according to the typing result and isolates information stored in BacWGSTdb.BacWGSTdb 旨在用于监测重要细菌性病原菌的出现与暴发。具体而言，该数据库具备两项专属功能：分型与溯源。其中，分型指在传统多位点序列分型（multi-locus sequence typing, MLST）与全基因组测序分型（whole-genome sequencing typing, WGST）两个层面开展整合式基因分型；溯源则指依据分型结果及存储于BacWGSTdb中的菌株信息，检索高度同源的分离菌株以完成溯源工作。
