2014 - 2014 Centre for Environment, Fisheries & Aquaculture Science (Cefas) British Virgin Islands multibeam bathymetry data

A multibeam echosounder survey was undertaken in July/August 2014 as part of the Darwin Plus funded project (DPLUS026) in the British Virgin Islands. The survey was undertaken from the MV Rhone Ranger, owned by the National Parks Trust of the Virgin Islands. The survey suite consisted of the following items: Teledyne-Reson T20-P multibeam echosounder, Applanix POS MV Wavemaster Inertial Motion Unit with Fugro GPS corrections, SAIV SD-204 CTD profiler, PDS2000 and Pos-Pac data acquisition software. This dataset is a raster file in *.img format which contains depth (in metres below Chart Datum) values across the survey area.2014年7月至8月，英属维尔京群岛范围内开展了多波束测深（multibeam echosounder）调查作业，本次作业系达尔文Plus资助项目（DPLUS026）的组成部分。本次调查由维尔京群岛国家公园信托基金所属的MV Rhone Ranger号船舶承担。本次调查配备的设备套件包含以下设备：Teledyne-Reson T20-P型多波束测深仪、搭载Fugro GPS校正功能的Applanix POS MV Wavemaster型惯性运动单元（Inertial Motion Unit）、SAIV SD-204型温盐深（CTD）剖面仪，以及PDS2000与Pos-Pac两款数据采集软件。 本数据集为*.img格式的栅格文件，包含调查区域内的水深值，单位为海图基准面以下米（Chart Datum）。
