资源简介:
Mill Stream is one of about a dozen remaining trout streams at the fringe of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area in east-central Minnesota. The stream is tributary to the St. Croix River, a federally designated National Scenic Riverway, and therefore provides an important contribution to the biodiversity of the St. Croixs watershed. The stream passes through the village of Marine on St. Croix, and local residents concerned about the impact of development organized a volunteer network to monitor the stream. The St. Croix Watershed Research Station agreed to donate time and expertise to establish automated monitoring stations.
This dataset consists of hourly values of stream flow, temperature, and specific conductance from Mill Stream, near its mouth on the St. Croix River, June 2002-present. Equipment failures have caused the dataset to have significant temporal gaps. The stage-discharge relation at this site is not well established, making all flow records tentative.
