ANOVA and MANOVA of Spectral Data of Lettuce Seeds from Two Genotypes Subjected to Priming.ANOVA was used to examine differences in hyperspectral bands based on cultivar and seed treatment (non-primed, wet primed, dry primed, and stored primed). The experiment was established using a randomized complete block design (10 lots) with two factors: the first factor was the cultivar (2 levels), and the second factor was the seed treatment (4 levels).Subsequently, a MANOVA was conducted to evaluate how the treatments influenced the hyperspectral properties of the seeds. Various statistical criteria, such as Pillai's trace, Hotelling-Lawley trace, Wilks' lambda, and Roy's largest root, were used to determine the significance of the treatments considering all response variables (Cheng et al., 2023b; Xu et al., 2022).4o
