This dataset compiles statistical records of the comprehensive Grain for Green Project construction status across all regions in 2011, including: region, total afforestation area, total afforestation area on converted cropland, ecological forest area, converted sloping farmland area with slope ≥25°, converted severely sandy cropland area, afforestation on barren hills and wasteland, new enclosure of non-forest land and open forest land, timber forest, economic forest, protective forest, fuelwood forest, special-purpose forest, actual enclosed mountain (sand) afforestation area at year-end, total grass planting area in the reporting year, grass planting/establishing area on converted cropland, total area of converted cropland with grain and cash subsidies disbursed in the reporting year, total cumulative grain subsidy funds since the project’s initiation, total grain subsidy funds (aggregate and subtotal) for the reporting year, grain subsidy funds for newly converted cropland in the reporting year, total cumulative living allowance disbursements since the project’s initiation, total living allowance disbursements for the reporting year, living allowance disbursements for newly converted cropland in the reporting year, number of households involved in grain and cash subsidy disbursement in the reporting year, total completed forestry investment, state investment, grain subsidy funds, seed and seedling expenses, living allowances, special funds for consolidating the results of the Grain for Green Project, and other expenses. Additionally, it includes national forestry statistical data for 2011, covering silviculture and forest industrial operations, as well as personnel salary and education data within the forestry system.
