OPPORTUNITIES FOR USING ADAPTIVE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF GIFTED STUDENTS

This article explores the opportunities of using adaptive learning technologies in the development of gifted students. The study examines how adaptive systems can personalize the learning process by adjusting content, pace, and instructional strategies according to individual students’ abilities and learning needs. Special attention is given to the role of artificial intelligence-based platforms, data-driven assessment tools, and intelligent tutoring systems in supporting personalized education. The research highlights that adaptive learning environments enhance students’ motivation, engagement, and academic achievement by providing tailored learning pathways and continuous feedback. In addition, the study discusses how these technologies help teachers identify students’ strengths and weaknesses more effectively, enabling timely pedagogical intervention. The findings suggest that adaptive learning technologies significantly contribute to the intellectual and creative development of gifted students in higher education.
