Treatment with commonly used antiretroviral drugs induces a type I/III interferon signature in the gut in the absence of HIV infection: ISG15 microscopy

The purpose of this data set was to measure how the expression of ISG15 in rectal and duodenal biopsies is affected by use of oral tenofovir disoproxil fumarate/emtricitabine for prevention of HIV infection. ISG15 expression was measured by immunofluorescence microscopy from samples taken from the ACTU3500 study at baseline and after two months of daily oral tenofovir disoproxil fumarate/emtricitabine.<br>The complete methods and results are described here: https://doi.org/10.1101/701961

本数据集旨在探究口服富马酸替诺福韦二吡呋酯/恩曲他滨（tenofovir disoproxil fumarate/emtricitabine）用于人类免疫缺陷病毒（HIV）感染预防时，对直肠及十二指肠活检标本中ISG15表达水平的影响。样本均采集自ACTU3500研究，通过免疫荧光显微镜（immunofluorescence microscopy）检测了基线期及每日口服上述药物两个月后的标本中ISG15的表达水平。
