FIELD: methods and devices for metal processing. SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the woodworking industry， in particular to devices for transverse sawing. Circular saw comprises a frame， a guide， a carriage， at least one circular saw blade supported by the carriage， an electric motor for moving the carriage and rotating at least one saw blade. Electric motor is attached to the frame. Between the electric motor and the carriage， the first gear is located for conversion of output power of the electric motor into reciprocal motion of the carriage along the guide. Between the carriage and at least one saw blade， the second gear is arranged to convert carriage reciprocation into rotation of at least one saw blade. Carriage is moved along guide by means of electric motor and first gear. By means of the second gear， carriage reciprocation is converted into rotation of at least one saw blade.
