Southern Surveyor Voyage SS 09/2004 HPLC Pigment and Ocean Colour Data

This record contains data collected on the RV Southern Surveyor, north of the Tasman Sea, between 15 and 27 September 2004. The data can be used for Ocean Colour sensor validation. Parameters measured are the concentration of chlorophyll and carotenoid pigments and retrieved chlorophyll a estimate. The data was used primarily to validate ocean colour sensors MERIS, MODIS and SeaWIFs and the SST sensor AATSR. Samples were collected and analysed for pigments.本数据集包含2004年9月15日至27日期间，于塔斯曼海北部“南方调查号（RV Southern Surveyor）”研究船上采集的相关数据。该数据集可应用于海洋水色传感器（Ocean Colour sensor）验证工作。本次实测参数涵盖叶绿素与类胡萝卜素色素浓度，以及反演得到的叶绿素a（chlorophyll a）估算值。本数据集主要用于验证海洋水色传感器MERIS、MODIS及SeaWiFS，以及海表温度传感器（SST, Sea Surface Temperature）AATSR。研究团队已完成针对色素的样本采集与分析工作。
