Network Dataset for Crool's Evangelical and Restorationist Networks (1806–1837)

This dataset accompanies an MA thesis examining the network context surrounding R. Joseph Crool and early nineteenth-century British evangelical discussions of Jewish Restoration. It documents individuals and relationships associated with Crool’s personal, institutional, and intellectual connections, including those linked to the London Society for Promoting Christianity Amongst the Jews, the Philo-Judaean Society, and the Albury Circle. The network analysis does not seek to demonstrate direct influence or causation, but to model the structural conditions under which Crool’s ideas could circulate beyond his immediate circle. In doing so, the dataset provides a relational framework for assessing how restorationist arguments moved through overlapping evangelical, Jewish, and prophetic networks during the period 1806–1837.
