This High Mountain Asia (HMA) data set comprises a suite of monthly and yearly water balance model (WBM) projections for the years 2016 – 2099, covering parts of Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Pakistan (primarily the headwaters of the Amu Darya and Indus River basins).
Projections are available for 12 Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6) global climate models and two Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSP 2-4.5 and SSP 5-8.5). The data were generated using the University of New Hampshire WBM.
A historical run is also available for the years 1980 through 2018, using as input ERA5 reanalysis temperature data and ensemble precipitation estimates.
本高山亚洲(High Mountain Asia, HMA)数据集包含系列逐月及逐年水量平衡模型(Water Balance Model, WBM)预测结果,时间跨度为2016至2099年,研究区域覆盖阿富汗、塔吉克斯坦、吉尔吉斯斯坦及巴基斯坦部分区域(主要为阿姆河与印度河盆地的上游流域)。
该预测结果依托12个耦合模式比较计划第六阶段(Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6, CMIP6)全球气候模式,以及两种共享社会经济路径(SSP 2-4.5与SSP 5-8.5)生成,由新罕布什尔大学水量平衡模型完成构建。
此外,数据集还提供1980至2018年的历史模拟序列,其输入数据为ERA5再分析气温资料与集合降水估算产品。
