In this light, we have undertaken comparative transcriptomic analysis under high temperature stress conditions between XinXia Qing, a heat-resistant cultivar bred by our team, and Suzhou Qing, a thermo-sensitive variant of the same greens. Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes enrichment analyses further helped to illuminate the molecular underpinnings of the heat-resistance disparity between the two varieties.
