The dataset is a global gridded climatological (long-term annual mean) temperature and salinity (<i>T & S</i>) dataset with ten ensembles, named BOA_CLM. This dataset has 80 vertical levels (from 5 dbar to 1950 dbar) and different horizontal resolutions, including 1°, 1/2°, 1/4°, 1/6°, 1/8° to 1/10°. It is generated from over 7.2 million historical <i>T & S</i> profiles collected from 1900-2024.The gridded BOA_CLM can be accessed from figshare in the form of NetCDF, and the Matlab script 'read_BOA_CLM_nc.m' can be used to read these files. Here the variables (T & S) include 8 ensembles. Such as, the 1° global gridded T & S is <b><i>BOA_CLIM_TEO10_stable_global_1_1_Ensemble_**</i></b><b><i>.nc, and the 1/10° gridded data is BOA_CLIM_TEO10_stable_global_1_10_</i></b><b><i>Ensemble_</i></b><i>**</i><b><i>.nc</i></b>, and they include:1.latitude: latitudes for T and S2.longitude: longitude for T and S3.pressure: depths (unit:dbar) for T and S4.Conservative_temperature: Conservative temperature (unit:°C) (dimension:<i>latitude*</i><i>longitude*</i><i>depth</i>)5.Absolute_salinity: Absolute salinity (unit: g/kg)(dimension:<i>latitude*</i><i>longitude*</i><i>depth</i>)<br>Copyright and Disclaimer:1.
