Exomic NGS of eleven tumors isolated from KPeC mice revealed a number of exomic miscoding mutations (13.6 mutations/tumor) below the number of those identified in human tumors (38.5 mutations/tumor) Interestingly, the 150 miscoding mutations present in the 11 KPeC tumors analyzed here occurred within different loci. Bioinformatic analysis revealed that almost half of these mutated genes felt within the twelve signaling pathways identified by Vogelstein and co-workers in human PDAC tumors
