The differently expressed circRNAs were analysis by microarray. There were 256 differentially upregulated circRNAs and 277 differentially downregulated circRNAs based on fold change ≥2.0 and p<0.05. We found hsa_circ_0001583 expression was up-regulated in BC groups (p<0.05) by RT-qPCR. Therefore, we though hsa_circ_0001583 may serve as a novel kind of biomarker for BC. A total of 4 pairs of breast cancer tissue samples and adjacent nontumor tissue samples were obtained from five BC patients. The circRNA expression profiles were detected with microarray, and validated by RT-qPCR.
