数据采集:SRTM(ShuttleRadarTopographyMission)90米分辨率高程数据由美国太空总署和国防部国家测绘局联合测量。2000年2月11日,美国发射的“奋进”号航天飞机上搭载ShuttleRadarTopographyMission系统,共计进行了222小时23分钟的数据采集工作,获取北纬60度至南纬60度之间总面积超过1.19亿平方公里的雷达影像数据,覆盖地球80%以上的陆地表面,制成了数字地形高程模型(DEM)。
数据预处理
辐射校正:雷达影像数据会受到大气散射、吸收以及雷达系统本身特性的影响,导致影像上的辐射值不能真实反映地面目标的反射特性。通过对雷达影像进行辐射校正,消除这些因素的影响,使影像的辐射值更准确地对应地面的真实情况。
数据生成与裁切:根据处理后的雷达影像数据,制成了数字地形高程模型(DEM)。对于青藏高原地区,需要从全球的 SRTM 数据中进行裁切。通过地理信息系统(GIS)软件,利用青藏高原的边界矢量数据,将覆盖青藏高原区域的 90m 高程数据从全球数据集中提取出来,得到专门针对青藏高原的 90m 高程数据。
This dataset contains 90-meter resolution elevation data over the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
Data Collection: The SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) 90-meter resolution elevation data was jointly surveyed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Mapping Agency of the U.S. Department of Defense. On February 11, 2000, the Space Shuttle Endeavour launched by the United States carried the SRTM system, and conducted data collection for a total of 222 hours and 23 minutes, acquiring radar image data with a total area exceeding 119 million square kilometers between 60°N and 60°S, covering more than 80% of the Earth's land surface, which was used to establish the Digital Elevation Model (DEM).
Data Preprocessing
Radiometric Correction: Radar image data is affected by atmospheric scattering, absorption, and the inherent characteristics of the radar system, causing the radiometric values in the images to fail to accurately reflect the reflection characteristics of ground targets. Radiometric correction is performed on the radar images to eliminate these interfering factors, so that the radiometric values of the images can more accurately correspond to the actual ground conditions.
Data Generation and Clipping: The processed radar image data is used to create the Digital Elevation Model (DEM). For the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau region, clipping is required from the global SRTM dataset. Using Geographic Information System (GIS) software and the boundary vector data of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the 90-meter resolution elevation data covering the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is extracted from the global dataset, obtaining the 90-meter resolution elevation data specifically for the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
