Sedimentary records of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in response to eutrophication in Sanmen Bay, China [Data set]

This dataset contains the supporting data for the manuscript "Sedimentary Records of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Response to Eutrophication in Sanmen Bay, China". It includes: (1) concentrations of 16 US EPA priority PAHs in sediment cores SM-17 and SM-3; (2) vertical profiles of TOC, TN, TP, and biogenic silica (BSi); (3) n-alkane molecular composition indices (CPI, Pr/Ph, ΣnC ranges); (4) 210Pb dating data; (5) PMF source apportionment results; (6) PCA contribution results; (7) ecological risk indices (TEQ, mERM-Q); and (8) annual mean temperature data from Sanmen and Linhai stations (1953–2015).
