Clouds - Baltex Bridge Cloud campaign august-september 2001 at Cabauw

The BALTEX BRIDGE CAMPAIGN: An integrated approach for a better understanding of clouds. The BBC was performed around a central experimental facility at Cabauw, Netherlands. Cabauw was part of a regional network consisting of 10 remote sensing stations covering a region of 100 km x 100 km in the central Netherlands. Aircraft observations, satellite analysis, and atmospheric modeling were centered around Cabauw. The campaign lasted from 1 August until the end of September 2001. A Microwave Intercomparison Campaign (MICAM) at Cabauw marked the beginning of the campaign. After 2 weeks the microwave radiometers were distributed over the regional network that performed continuous cloud and radiation observations using lidar ceilometers, infrared radiometers, and pyranometers. In situ cloud and radiation measurements by three aircraft and a tethered balloon were performed in September.BALTEX桥梁试验（BALTEX BRIDGE CAMPAIGN）：采用综合研究路径以深化云系认知。本次试验以荷兰卡堡（Cabauw）的核心实验场站为核心开展。卡堡隶属于荷兰中部一片覆盖100千米×100千米区域的遥感观测网络，该网络共包含10个遥感站。航空观测、卫星分析与大气模拟均以卡堡为核心开展。本次试验周期为2001年8月1日至2001年9月末。本次试验以在卡堡开展的微波比对试验（Microwave Intercomparison Campaign, MICAM）拉开序幕。试验开展两周后，微波辐射计被部署至该区域遥感网络中，该网络借助激光云高仪（lidar ceilometers）、红外辐射计（infrared radiometers）与总辐射表（pyranometers）开展连续的云系与辐射观测。9月期间，依托3架航空器与系留气球开展了原位云系与辐射观测。
