Overview of the critical polysaccharide bonds in found in poplar hardwood as well as the glycoside hydrolases that act on these bonds.

This database was assembled by first cataloging the known glycosidic bonds in hardwoods (cellulose, hemicelluloses, and pectins) and then correlating reported enzyme activities from the Enzyme Commission (EC) database known or suspected to hydrolyze these bonds [67]–[69].
