The aim of this project is to characterize bacteria isolated from primary care urine samples. Isolates are selected for resistance to various antibiotics routinely used to treat urinary tract infections. Isolate Names beginning "20M", "22M" etc are from 2020, 2022 etc from Bristol, United Kingdom and are selected for resistance to Cefpodoxime, Ciprofloxacin, Amoxicillin-Clavulanate, Mecillinam and/or Nitrofurantoin. Isolate Names beginning "US" are from 2023 from Bristol and are not selected for resistance to any antibiotic.
