Bihar COVID and Sanitation (2019-20)

This dataset contains information about household sanitation practices and experiences with COVID-19 impact in Bihar, India. All data has been de-identified and contains variable and value labels for clarity. Data are available as a Stata (.dta) dataset. The data were collected among 900 households at two points in time (September/October 2019 and December 2020). This dataset was used to examine the relationships between economic covid exposures and household sanitation practices following the first wave and associated lockdown of the COVID-19 pandemic in Bihar. The data were collected at the household level, with one respondent from each household participating in the household survey. These data are part of a larger household survey and experimental games exercise conducted in several Indian states and funded by the International Growth Centre (agreement C-0001249).
