资源简介:
To effectively treat landfill leachate using the existing treatment system, indigenous microorganisms native to it are essential because they survive in these harsh conditions. Hence we tried to identify indigenous microorganisms present in landfill leachate by enhancing their growth in existing simultaneous nitrification, anammox, and denitrification (SNAD) process. We have identified microorganisms that are involved in anammox, nitrification, denitrification and aromatic organic degradation whose growth were enhanced during the treatment process.Furthermore, the most appropriate inoculum for treating landfill leachate was determined from inocula collected from three different sources i.e., activated sludge process (ASP), moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR) sludge and lake sediment.
