Data for seasonality in stable isotopes of Southampton Water fish community

Two csv files containing 1) all stable isotope analyses conducted during the project and 2) daily water physiochemistry data extracted from the xylem buoy collected between October 2015 and January 2017 in Southampton Water. Stable isotope data includes bulk carbon, nitrogen and sulphur values from 453 individual fish, plus triplicates of monthly SPM filtrate and some basal resources collected July 2016. Samples were cleaned, freeze-dried and homogenised for analyses. No lipid extraction or carbonate removal was conducted on any of the samples. Water data contains daily means (from measurements taken every 15 minutes) of temperature, salinity, pH, turbidity (FNU) and chlorophyll concentration (fluorometric derivation in ug l^-1).
