Analysis of the transcriptome of human monocyte-derived macrophages activated with IFN-gamma and LPS and treated with biguanides Peripheral blood samples were collected from 5 healthy donors. Monocytes were sorted, then exposed to granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor to generate their differentiation. After 5 days of differentiation, macrophages were treated with IFN-gamma, LPS and biguanides during 24 hours.
