Chromosome-level genome of <i>Platycarya strobilacea</i>

<i>Platycarya strobilacea</i> belong to walnut family (Juglandaceae), commonly known as species endemic to East Asia, is an ecologically important, wind pollinated, woody deciduous tree<i>.</i> To facilitate this ancient tree for ecological value and conservation, we report a new high-quality genome assembly of <i>P. strobilacea</i>.

化香树（Platycarya strobilacea）隶属于胡桃科（Juglandaceae），为东亚特有木本落叶乔木，兼具重要生态价值与风媒传粉特性。为助力该古老树种的生态价值研究与物种保护工作，本研究报道了化香树的一套全新高质量基因组组装结果。
