COVID-19 Unified US County Daily Dataset - 2020

This dataset integrates county-level COVID-19 data from a multitude of open-source and governmental datasets. It contains environmental, social, behavioral, economic, political, regulatory, and health characteristics for every US county on every day of the COVID-19 pandemic from January 22, 2020 to December 31, 2020. Covariates used for modeling were selected from a candidate list through negative binomial stepwise forward selection with backwards elimination, as well as clinical judgement for prediction of COVID-19 cases and deaths. In our study, counterfactual and bootstrap analyses estimated the impact of secondary education on COVID-19 mortality.
