Analyzing the Factors of Domestic Violence and Its Impact on Protection Service Effectiveness in Jakarta: An Empirical Study

Abstract— This study examines domestic violence (DV) factors in Jakarta and their impact on protection services. It aims to analyze how economic, social, and psychological pressures influence DV occurrence and service performance. Utilizing a quantitative structural modeling framework, an explanatory method analyzing survey data and official reports is applied. The results indicate that economic, social, and psychological factors significantly drive DV, which subsequently affects service effectiveness. This study concludes that DV is a multidimensional urban issue requiring integrated intervention, implying a vital need for enhanced family and community-based prevention strategies.
