Bibliometric dataset on paratransit, informal transport, and popular mobility research, 1970–2023

This dataset contains bibliographic, temporal, geographic, conceptual, and thematic data on research about paratransit, informal transport, intermediate public transport, shared taxi, minibus transport, and popular mobility. The corpus includes 777 Scopus-indexed academic documents retrieved within a 1970–2023 search window, with observed publication years from 1975 to 2022. The repository includes the cleaned database, coding dictionary, screening log, search strategy, methodological notes, figure source data, VOSviewer outputs, figures, and Python scripts used to support the related research article on the transition from paratransit to popular transport.
